About Us
History of Company
Here at Upstate Metal Recycling, we are built on Solid Values. With a long-term vision in-site, Martin J. Henry, opened Upstate Metal Recycling over two decades ago and has since been persevering through his commitment to superior customer service, exceptional knowledge of the industry and unrivaled work ethic.
Martin has since hired his daughter, Rebecca (Henry) Parker who graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Marketing and Business Management and started her career with Firestone Building Products in Indianapolis, IN. She now works alongside her husband, Steven Parker, a retired Indianapolis firefighter and a Hall of Famer track star from Indiana University to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business. In addition, Jake Henry, son of Martin Henry has been with the company since its inception and currently manages dispatching and retail sales.
We believe small family businesses are the foundation of what this country was built on and pride ourselves on serving our valued customers, creating a premier place to work for our employees, and supporting the local community.
The upstate mission
